Our School

Priory Rise School opened for the first time in September 2008. Our school serves the communities of Tattenhoe Park and South Kingsmead although until the housing is developed in these areas, children from our secondary catchment areas also attend Priory Rise. The secondary catchment areas are Kingsmead and Tattenhoe. In September 2008 we opened with our very first three classes of children; we now have over 630 children on roll plus 42 places in nursery! The school admission number for each year group is 90.

The school is located to the west of the V1 between the H7 and H8 grid roads, it is an imaginative, exciting place with wonderful facilities and features including a large, full height library, a music room, an art/technology room, a full size kitchen, a community room, an internal courtyard garden, wonderful outside playing facilities and fabulous dedicated Foundation Stage play areas. We also have have up to date technology and interactive boards fitted as standard to help deliver an exciting curriculum and enhance teaching and learning.

Our school aims emphasise our commitment to high standards and expectations in all respects, along with our passion to make learning exciting and inspirational. We believe that Priory Rise offers your child the very best start to their education and we are also very committed to working in partnership with parents and the community.
