Anti-bullying
At Priory Rise, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every child. Bullying of any kind is never acceptable, and we work hard to ensure that children feel supported and confident to speak out. If your child ever experiences or witnesses bullying, please encourage them to talk to a safe adult in school.
Together, we can make sure that kindness and respect remain at the heart of our community.
What is Bullying?
Bullying is when someone repeatedly hurts, threatens, or frightens another person on purpose. Bullying should not be confused with children making mistakes whilst they are still learning about how to maintain positive relationships and friendships. It can happen in different ways, such as:
- Physical bullying – hitting, kicking, or damaging belongings
- Verbal bullying – name-calling, teasing, or making hurtful comments
- Social bullying – leaving someone out on purpose or spreading rumours
- Online bullying – using phones or the internet to send mean messages
Bullying is never acceptable. At Priory Rise, we work together to make sure everyone feels safe, respected, and included.
If you suspect your child is a victim of bullying, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your child’s class teacher or the Year Leader, who will respond quickly with support.
