Updates

24th April 2020
Happy Friday!

We hope you're all keeping well and safe. We've added the latest home learning tasks to our website and taken the opportunity to reorgainse the home learning section while we are at it, moving past tasks into an archive section for each year group. The main pages will now only show the most current work, but all the other activities will remain accessible on the archive pages should you need them.

We've also added lots more photos of children learning from home, so please take a look with your children if they are missing their friends. If you want to add your own pictures, just email them to us using photos@prioryrise.milton-keynes.sch.uk.

On the main Home Learning page you will see a new online assembly from Rachel Foster which children are sure to enjoy. We have also added a new Parent Support page where we will be sharing some links and documents that we hope will help to support families during this difficult time.

There are lots of wonderful fund raising activities going on around us at the moment. Who can forget Major Tom's walks? Or Geraint Thomas cycling? We're very pleased to say one of our very own pupils is fundraising too, aiming to complete 50,000 catches for charity! Get all the details and consider dontaing here

Finally, with regards to home learning and the pressures some families are facing where parents might be working from home, please remember that as previously stated our view is always that first and foremost children need to be loved, safe and happy. Anything else that we can do with our children in these times is a bonus! If you have to choose one activity that you can do with your children, it is to keep them reading.

Stay safe!
