Y5 Residential - Friday
6th June 2018
Friday 8th June
Well, residential is over and we are on the coaches on our way back to school. What a time we've had! A great last day, we started by packing up our rooms and then another good breakfast. Activities this morning were:
- High Ropes
After that we had some time for free play while one group ventured into the maze. A hearty lunch to fill our bellies before the trip back to school and then it was time to get onto the coaches.
We're well on our way back to MK as I type this and I'm surrounded by happy (if a little tired) faces that can't wait to see parents. See you soon!
Thursday 7th June
What a day! Not as sunny as yesterday but completely action packed!
Lots of activities between the three classes:
- Adventure Pits
- Frisbee Golf
- High Ropes
- The Maze
Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we currently have some tired eyes winding down for the evening watching a movie or at a camp fire.
We've got a bit more action (and food - breakfast and lunch!) before we get back onto the coaches for the journey home tomorrow. I'm sure you're all looking forward to seeing them and hearing their stories about all the fun they've had, but hopefully the photos below will suffice for now.
P.S. If you didn't see yesterday's update then scroll down!
Wednesday 6th June
We set off from school without any problems and had an uneventful run to Irchester Country Park where we had a nice walk and some time to play.
Soon we were back onto the coaches and headed to Irthlingborough. When we arrived we sat in the sunshine and ate our lunch before heading off to our first activities:
After a well deserved dinner and time to make our beds it was time for our evening activities; the campfire and quiz or the movie night.
I'm sure all the children are already looking forward to tomorrow. We will try and update you when we can, but rest assured everyone is having a fantastic time!
